Ear care and symptoms
Earwax helps protect the ear. Ask a healthcare professional about symptoms or wax buildup before using a home device. Do not use these products for children or with ear pain, discharge, a perforated eardrum, ear tubes or recent ear surgery. Sudden hearing loss needs urgent medical care.
Ear candles
There is no established evidence that ear candles remove earwax. They can cause burns and ear injury. Do not place or burn candles in the ear. A relaxation description does not remove these risks.
Irrigation and camera tools
A camera does not make insertion risk-free. Irrigation and manual tools can injure the ear when unsuitable or used incorrectly. Follow product instructions and obtain professional advice first.
